So we're finally planning to redo our kitchen in late 2026—it’s been a long time coming since the current fridge sounds like a dying tractor—and I’ve really fallen in love with that LG InstaView door (the one where you knock on the glass to see inside). I’m trying to be super careful with the budget because we’re moving into this older place in Chicago and the renovations are already eating up way more than I expected. - Budget is $2,800 tops, but I'd love to see it hit $2,100 if that's even realistic.

Like someone mentioned, those prices definitely tank in November so youre totally safe on that budget. Tbh you should really look at the warehouse clubs like Costco for the LG InstaView Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator because they usually toss in a second year of warranty and free installation for the same price as the big box stores which saves you another couple hundred bucks easily. Also ngl the most ESSENTIAL thing is to check for black friday price protection in early nov so you can buy it before it goes out of stock and still get the lowest price back as a refund because you dont wanna wait until the actual monday and find out the chicago delivery slots are all full until january...
