I'm trying to buy the DJI Mini 5 Pro but I'm honestly overwhelmed. I've never owned a drone and I don't know how any of this works. My budget is capped at $800 and I’m terrified of spending that much and then seeing a massive discount two weeks later. I need the drone for a trip to Iceland this December so I can't wait until the last minute. I've been searching for Black Friday 2026 leaks but I can't tell what's real and what's just clickbait. I don't want to get scammed on some random site. Everything looks very complicated and I'm worried I'll buy the wrong thing. Sorry if this is a basic thing to ask, I just have no idea where people find this info before it's official. I keep checking forums but everyone seems to know more than me. Are there any actual leaked DJI Mini 5 Pro Black Friday 2026 deals?

Look, this comes up a lot — search the forum, there’s a massive thread about 'fake leaks' every season — but the short answer is that those 2026 price lists are almost always clickbait nonsense. I’ve been around here long enough to see that DJI usually doesn't do deep cuts on their newest 'Pro' models so soon, maybe 10% if you're lucky, but wait — actually, it’s often just a free accessory bundle or a small discount on the RC. Since you’re heading to Iceland and the cold there just eats batteries for breakfast, you really need to prioritize a multi-battery setup. You’d honestly be much safer picking up the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo on a confirmed sale rather than gambling on a DJI Mini 5 Pro Standard Bundle price drop that might not happen before your flight.

Regarding what #2 said about "ngl those leaks are lowkey fake—I checked everywhere...", I've been through four launch cycles and those leaks are always clickbait. DJI rarely discounts new flagships within 12 months.
- Leaks are fake; ignore them.
- Buy the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo.
- Iceland’s sub-zero temps drain batteries in 15 minutes; you need the three-battery kit for that trip.

- Check open-box deals Wait—actually, just get the DJI Mini 4 Pro 4K Drone (it's basically the same) since it’s cheaper tbh.
