so i've been looking at the leaked BF flyers and honestly im so stressed out by these prices. i saw some people on reddit saying the rtx 5070 might actually drop to $480 but then other tech tubers are saying the stock is gonna be non-existent so like why even bother? i also looked at the rx 8800 xt because the rasterization is supposed to be crazy for the price but i do a lot of video editing on the side for my youtube channel and people say the drivers are still kinda weird for premiere pro... idk. my logic was that if i wait until the actual friday i might get a better deal but then i worry everything will sell out in five minutes. i really need something that can handle 1440p gaming because my current card is literally dying and screaming every time i open cyberpunk. my budget is strictly under $500 tbh because i gotta pay for rent too so i cant just blow it all on a card. is there like a sweet spot i'm missing? i read that the 5060 ti is a waste of money because of the bus width but then someone else said for mid-range it's fine for work... im just going in circles at this point. what are you guys actually seeing for deals that arent just total bait??

So funny you ask this — last summer I upgraded my editing suite and went with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB for $399. The bus width is secondary to the 16GB VRAM buffer when scrubbing 4K timelines. @Reply #2 - good point! AMD is fast, but NVENC is more stable for Premiere Pro. Aim for $400. It hits 80+ FPS at 1440p easily.

TL;DR: Buy the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB at $480. I've seen these cycles for years; Black Friday is mostly bait. Stick with NVIDIA for Premiere stability because AMD drivers still fail.

I've been through three of these—pure chaos—but honestly, just snag the AMD Radeon RX 8800 XT 16GB for $450. TL;DR: Best 1440p value; AMD finally fixed those messy Premiere drivers.
