Has anyone seen any legit leaked RX 8800 XT deals for Black Friday 2026 yet cuz I am losing my mind trying to wait? I've been checking every day tbh and I saw one post on Reddit saying they might hit $480 but then a discord leak said AMD is keeping prices high until 2027 so now I dont know what to believe and its stressing me out. Im trying to stick to a $500 budget for my build here in Chicago and I really need this card for the 4K video editing I'm starting soon... my current setup is basically a potato at this point. Do we think we're actually gonna get any real discounts or is it just gonna be those fake bundles?

Look, this comes up a lot — seriously, search the forum because we’ve had three threads on this today alone — but the short answer is that the $480 leak is probably just fan fiction. AMD usually keeps things tighter during the first big holiday push for a new series (usually, anyway). Wait, no — I mean, they did slash prices on the last gen pretty fast, but I wouldn't bet my whole build on it.
- Since you're in Chicago (lucky you), check the Micro Center in-store bundles; you can often get an AMD Radeon RX 8800 XT 16GB near that $500 mark if you’re buying the CPU there too.
- Keep an eye on AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB clearance sales — for 4K video editing, that extra VRAM is a massive win over newer, leaner cards.
- Skip those 'fake' bundles with the low-tier PSUs — they're just clearing out junk.

Look, Ive been wrenching on stuff for 25 years and one thing I know is talk is cheap. Listen, people get all worked up over these leaks every single year and its usually just NOISE to get people clicking tbh. There are no legit leaks this far out and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something or just guessing. I remember back when I tried to build my own workstation for the shop and I waited months for a Black Friday drop that NEVER happened. I ended up missing out on real work because I was chasing a tiny discount that didnt exist. My current setup is solid but I bought it when I needed it instead of waiting for some magic number. If you need it for work just buy what you can afford and get back to it. Waiting for 2026 deals is just gonna give you a headache and NO money... ngl its a waste of time.
