I’ve been flying drones since like the original Phantom days and honestly my Mavic 2 Pro is still holding on but man the sensor is starting to feel dated especially when I’m doing these late evening real estate shoots in Portland where the lighting gets all moody and weird... I was gonna upgrade last year but I held off because I figured I’d just wait for a massive price drop on the Mavic 3 Pro once the newer models started saturating the market more. Tbh I’m really eyeing that triple camera system because the 70mm lens is basically a game changer for the kind of parallax shots I want to get for this big commercial project I have lined up for mid-December.

I’ve been scouring the usual spots like B&H and Adorama and even checking those sketchy-looking liquidator sites but everything still seems so high like they’re barely budging on the Fly More Combo price even though it’s already late 2026. My budget is capped at around $1,900 for the whole kit and I’m really hoping to find a bundle that includes the RC Pro controller because the standard RC screen is just not bright enough for Oregon’s occasional sunny days—not that we get many lol. Ive noticed some retailers are doing these weird "early access" things where you have to be a member and I’m wondering if those are actually worth it or if I should just hold out for the actual Friday morning doorbusters.

Does anyone know if DJI usually does direct discounts on their site that beat out the big box stores or should I be looking at Best Buy for those Reward points? I’m trying to figure out if there’s a specific "sweet spot" time to buy or if stock is gonna be an issue like it was a couple years back when everything was backordered for months. Where are you guys seeing the absolute best DJI Mavic 3 Pro deals for this Black Friday?

Tbh id lowkey check the DJI Refurbished store for that DJI Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo with RC Pro. Just make sure you double-check the warranty details before buying anything discounted...

This comes up a lot. TL;DR: B&H DJI Mavic 3 Pro with RC Pro is $1,950, beating Best Buy's $2,199. DJI Direct rarely beats authorized dealer bundle pricing.

Look, the doorbuster strategy is for people who do not value their time. Listen, I have spent thirty years in a shop and I know how supply chains work. By the time Friday morning hits, the inventory for the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo with DJI RC Pro will be gone to the early access members. These retailers use those memberships to filter out the high-intent buyers. If you want to hit that $1,900 mark, you need to look at B&H Photo's Payboo card or similar tax-equivalent discounts. That is the only way you get under $2k with the RC Pro in the box. The standard DJI Mavic 3 Pro alone is cheaper, but you specifically want that 1,000-nit screen. Do not settle for the standard RC. It is garbage in direct light. Check the warehouse clubs like Costco. They often bundle an extra set of props or a hard case for the same price. I have seen them drop the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo to $1,850 on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving just to clear the shelves for the 2027 inventory. Buy it the second it hits your price point. If you wait for the actual Friday, you will be staring at a backordered screen until January. Stick to the authorized dealers so you do not get burned on the warranty.
