I've been flying the Mini line since the original but the Mini 5 Pro release timeline is confusing me. My logic was that if it drops early 2026, we might see some movement by November, but DJI usually holds firm on new flagship prices. I'm planning a big shoot in Iceland for December 2026 and need to know if I should buy at launch or wait for a holiday bundle. Based on the Mini 4 Pro's history, do you think they'll actually slash prices that soon or just throw in a free battery?
To add to the point above: tbh dont expect anything more than a Fly More price tweak. Everyone thinks Black Friday is for deals but DJI lowkey uses it to move old DJI Mini 4 Pro units instead.
Building on the earlier suggestion, ngl search the forum cause this comes up a lot but the short answer is no. DJI doesnt do real discounts on new tech that fast so just grab it at launch if you need it for a trip. tbh youre better off checking for credit card cash back deals to save a few bucks because the MSRP is gonna stay LOCKED. kinda reminds me of when I went to Norway and forgot that batteries die in like five min when its that cold... spent more on hand warmers for the gear than the actual flight time was worth lol. anyway just buy it early so you dont crash it into a glacier on day one...
DJI pricing strategies are a scam. I spent months tracking the DJI Mini 4 Pro hoping for a real discount and it never happened. It's lowkey frustrating that they have a near-monopoly on high-end sub-250g drones.
Rarely post but — wait, DJI never slashes DJI Mini 5 Pro prices that fast (usually takes a year).
Bookmarked, thanks!
