so ive been scouring the internet for like three days straight trying to find a solid price on the r5 mark ii because i really need to upgrade my kit for a huge wedding season im shooting in chicago next year... my budget is capped at like $3,500 and tbh the prices still look way too high. i saw some leaks on those gear forums about b&h maybe doing a bundle but it comes with a lens i already own so that kinda defeats the purpose for me and some people say the body-only discounts are gonna be basically non-existent this year. has anyone found any actual legit discounts for just the body or am i just dreaming?

Oh man, to add to the point above: that Canon EOS R5 Mark II 45MP Body stacked sensor is just — well, fabrication yields are low, which keeps the retail price basically locked.

look you wont find the Canon EOS R5 Mark II for $3,500 yet. listen i know specs and i know margins. canon is STINGY with flagship discounts. tbh your budget is just too low for a new body-only unit this year. check for a refurbished unit or just keep saving... its simple MATH.
