Are there any leaked Canon EOS R5 Mark III Cyber Monday deals for 2026?

I've been shooting with the R5 series since the original launch—mostly for high-end wedding work here in Chicago—so I'm not exactly a newbie to the Canon ecosystem. But man, trying to find actual leaked pricing for this year’s Cyber Monday is driving me up the wall. Usually, by mid-November, we see something credible from the usual suspects like Canon Rumors or even those leaked internal SKU lists from B&H, but this year it’s just... nothing but AI-generated garbage on Google results.

My logic was that since the R5 Mark III has been out for a few months now, we’d see at least a $300-400 shave off the MSRP, but everything I'm seeing points to "bundle deals" only (I don't need another kit lens, thanks). I’ve got a hard budget of $3,900 for the body alone because I need to save some cash for those new high-speed CFexpress cards—the 4.0 ones are still ridiculous.

  • Must be the Mark III (not the II)
  • Looking for body-only deals
  • Needs to ship before my December 10th shoot

I even checked some of the Japanese retail sites using a VPN to see if they’re listing early promos, but no luck. Are there any actual insiders or folks who’ve seen a legitimate price sheet leak? Or am I just delusional for thinking a brand-new flagship is gonna get a real discount this soon? Oh, and I forgot to mention, I’m specifically looking for US-based retailers because I need the warranty for my business insurance...

Search the forum; this comes up a lot. 1. Canon EOS R5 Mark III Body: Full US warranty, but MSRP is firm at $4,299.

  • Canon EOS R5 Mark III Body (Import): Hits your $3,800 budget but lacks warranty.

tbh I am no expert but I just looked into this last week and it is super frustrating. @Reply #2 - good point! The loyalty thing is huge but there is another path. I found that while the Canon EOS R5 Mark III Body is basically locked at MSRP for Cyber Monday, some shops are doing stealth trade-in bonuses to get people under that $4k mark without technically breaking the rules. Here is what I found during my deep dive:

  • Call a major authorized dealer directly; they sometimes have a phone-only price that they cant list online.
  • Look for the "Trade-In, Trade-Up" promos where you get a $400 bonus just for sending in an old DSLR body.
  • Some retailers are throwing in the ProGrade Digital 512GB CFexpress Type B Gold 4.0 for free which saves you a ton of cash anyway. ngl $3,900 for just the body with a US warranty is a reach right now... maybe the trade-in is your best bet for that December deadline.

Saw this and had to chime in. I missed a deal on my setup last year by ignoring loyalty programs.

  • Are you a CPS Platinum member? That usually dictates the internal price.
